In 1994, landscape writer J.B. Jackson, in his essay “Roads Belong in the Landscape”, posed the question “Which came first, the house or the road leading to the house? Based upon J.B. Jackson essay, I decided to document the economic and social consequences of the covid-19 pandemic through the road landscape, and again by using empty billboards. For this project I joined efforts with my two sons, Ismael (16) and Elias (10). Actually, this time I am working more as a conductor than as photographer, since Ismael is leading the shooting and Elias is in charge of setting the tripod.
